Search Manager
Position Summary
The Search Manager will be responsible for driving the
strategy and overseeing the day-to-day management of a number of high
profile clients across the Paid and Organic search disciplines.
Supported by a team of Search Specialists, the Search
Manager’s role is a multi-faceted one that requires a wealth
of Search Engine Marketing experience and a dedication and passion for
implementing and growing holistic search campaigns across a diverse
client portfolio.
Detailed Job Description
- Responsible for driving the strategy and management of
multiple Paid and Organic campaigns across numerous verticals
- Understand the intricacies of client Paid and Organic
campaigns and being able to impart knowledge and advice to your team
based on our internal process and methodologies.
- Expertly manage client and supplier relationships to
maximise account goals
- Work with and/or ability to quickly acclimate to bid
management tools and technologies – both proprietary and
non-proprietary – and to train your team in the same.
- Understanding complicated campaign results and being able
to disseminate and present these to clients in a way that responds to
their business and financial objectives
- Document strategies for and implementing ongoing Organic
Search campaigns for multiple clients
- Monitor, research and present on industry and search
specific changes – both internally and externally
- Encouraging superior time management and multi-tasking
skills within your team to maximise efficiency and level of client
service.
- Growing revenue through superior services
Skills/Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience managing Paid and/or Organic Search
campaigns for multiple clients
- Experience managing a team
- Experience managing multiple client relationships at all
levels of the business
- Ability to think at a highly strategic level and impart
these strategies to all internal sectors including above the line
disciplines
- Aptitude for data and web analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at time management and prioritising multiple tasks
- Highly analytically and numerically focused with excellent
attention to detail
- Highly skilled at report generation and presentation
- Ability to adapt well to new technology and communicate
technical functionality to others
- Reasonable understanding of HTML, Javascript, Flash and
other digital technologies
- Experience with web analytics packages
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
